Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during a worship service?
The service begins at 11:00 a.m. with a time of worship (singing) followed by a Bible-based sermon. Children are welcome to stay in the service during our time of worship and are dismissed for children’s church before the sermon begins. The service concludes with a closing prayer and singing.
How long does the service last?
The service typically lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and allows you to worship God freely. In our church, you will find a wide spectrum of outfits spanning from formal dress-wear to casual jeans and shorts.
What do you have for kids?
Our church is family-friendly and offers different options for children during the service. Typically, children stay for the worship and singing portion of the service, and are then dismissed to Children’s Church (grades K-5).
Middle school and high school students remain in the sanctuary for the rest of the service on Sunday mornings. Separate youth group times are offered throughout the week (for more information please see the children and Youth ministry tabs) *add hyperlinks
Infant and toddler nurseries are located downstairs, each with their own leader. We also have a private room at the rear for the sanctuary for nursing mothers.
How early should I arrive?
Feel free to arrive at least 10 minutes before the service. This will give you time to settle in, visit our Cafe for a fresh cup of coffee, and find your seats before the service begins at 11:00 a.m.
What doors should I come in?
We ask that you enter through the main double doors at the top. Our greeters will be there to direct you and answer questions that you may have as you come in.
What if I have special needs?
Our church has wheelchair access to the main sanctuary from the outside and bathrooms are equipped for handicap access. We also have a TV that streams the service in the Cafe area as an alternative service location.
What should I bring?
Feel free to bring a Bible if you have one. Bibles are located in the chair pockets in the sanctuary and passages are displayed on the big screen for everyone to see. We also encourage people to bring paper and a pen for note taking during the teaching time.
How often do you take communion?
We take communion on the second Sunday of every month. You do not need to be a member of Faith Alliance Church to participate. Our only requirement is that you are a member of the Kingdom of God.
How do I become a member?
Schedule a time to meet with the pastors for a brief interview before being formally welcomed into our community of believers. For more information email Pastor Yossi at yossi@faithcma.com
